2024 marked the 20th anniversary of The Specific Heats.
(We’ll let that sink in over an otherwise unnecessary paragraph break.)

We’re coming at you with Decaydes Later (Nov 1, 2024), an all-new EP recorded in 2023 featuring three recent songs and official studio recordings of two tunes fans may recognize from live sets on our last go-around. Decaydes Later is currently in production at RPM in Denmark, the most eco-friendly pressing plant on the planet. We’re stoked to be back and feel the EP simultaneously picks up where we left off and gets back to our roots.

The gang was back at Mystic Valley Studios this summer (where most of 2010’s “CURSED!” was recorded) and has started working on a new full-length.
